Group Company: Visteon Designation: Assoc Manager II Industrial Engineering Office Location: Position description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join Visteon's Industrial Engineering team as an Associate Manager II. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence within the automotive manufacturing environment by optimizing production processes, enhancing efficiency, and reducing costs. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing principles, manage capacity planning, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and proven leadership experience in industrial engineering within the automotive sector. Primary Responsibilities: Lead and manage industrial engineering projects focused on process optimization, cost reduction, and productivity improvement in automotive manufacturing. Develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies, including value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen events, and waste elimination. Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions and meet production targets. Conduct time studies, work measurement, and line balancing to optimize labor utilization and workflow efficiency. Analyze production data and key performance indicators to identify bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions. Manage capacity planning and resource allocation to support fluctuating production demands and new product launches. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by mentoring and coaching team members on industrial engineering best practices. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to evaluate and implement new technologies and equipment that enhance manufacturing capabilities. Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations in all engineering activities. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management to communicate project status, risks, and outcomes. Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial engineering within the automotive manufacturing industry, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is highly desirable. Proven track record of successfully leading complex process improvement projects in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of automotive production systems, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. Proficiency in industrial engineering software tools and data analysis platforms.
