About You and the Role You are a strategic and innovative banking professional with strong expertise in product development, marketing, and project management. As the Product Development Department Head, you will lead the development and implementation of innovative card products and solutions, helping position China Bank's Cards Business as the preferred payment card provider in the market. Working closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams, you will drive product strategy, oversee project execution, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and established bank policies. What You'll Be Doing Conduct and oversee market research, industry trends analysis, and competitive benchmarking to identify product opportunities. Develop, enhance, and manage innovative card products, features, and services. Lead product conceptualization, business case development, and implementation planning. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful product rollout and lifecycle management. Collaborate with technology, operations, risk, compliance, and marketing teams throughout product development initiatives. Monitor product performance and recommend enhancements to improve market competitiveness. Ensure compliance with applicable banking regulations, card scheme requirements, and internal policies. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and timeliness of deliverables. Lead and mentor the Product Development team to achieve strategic objectives and foster continuous improvement. Achievement of strategic business objectives and departmental goals. Qualifications We Value Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced professional qualifications such as MBA, CPA, or CFA are advantageous. Extensive experience in financial institutions, particularly in product development and product management. Experience in cards business and payment solutions is highly preferred. Proven leadership experience in managing departments or teams. Strong project management capabilities. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Sound knowledge of marketing principles and strategies. Strong understanding of banking regulations, BSP guidelines, and payment schemes. Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-driven. Ability to manage multiple complex projects and work under tight deadlines. Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
