Whitewood Repair Specialist

DescriptionSummary Job Description

Position is responsible for inspecting whitewood products to ensure quality is being met.

Essential Duties

Using knowledgeable of different wood and veneer characteristics to determine repair action and quality
Refits drawers and doors as needed
Assembles a piece of wood or veneer to product as needed
Observes all scratches, dents, dips; repairing case to original product quality
Uses different wood related hand tools
Keeps work area clean and is quality conscious in performing duties
Must follow all safety policies and procedures
All other duties as assigned

QualificationsPosition Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
1 year of woodwork repair experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of various hand sanders a plus
