Medical Assistant/Chart Prep - Family Practice

A Day in the Life 

• The person filling this role will do chart prep for Manistee Primary Care, Manistee Pediatrics, Empire Family Care and Frankfort Medical Group. This person will work closely with other the PHO and our quality team as well as practice staff to make sure all charts are prepped for the practices.

What’s Required  

CREDENTIALED MEDICAL ASSISTANT

• High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred
• Credentialed as a Medical Assistant from an approved Munson Healthcare Credentialing Organization.
• BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.

NON-CREDENTIALED MEDICAL ASSISTANT

• High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred
• One year (1) relevant experience working in a physician practice or similar healthcare setting in a provider/patient support or Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program approved by Munson healthcare.
• BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.

MUST LIVE IN NORTHERN MICHIGAN!!!

Location:  This is a remote hybrid position - you will work remotely 3 days a week. You will work 1 day a week in Empire, MI and 1 day a week in Manistee, MI.
