Class 5, 5- Ton Operator for City P&D High Level

This driver is responsible for completing local deliveries within High Level and the surrounding area promptly by carrying, using a wheeler, a pallet jack, and a tailgate as required. They must be able to plan, load, and unload freight to a variety of customers.  A normal work week is Monday to Friday, with the occasional Saturday shift. We'll need some flexibility in availability to meet customers' needs.

Start time is 7:00 am on the dock, using a handheld device to receive freight and record any shortages or damages, then load freight onto delivery trucks. Complete deliveries and pick-ups, and return to finish your day on the dock loading outbound freight.

• Class 5 license
• 1 year of City Pick-up and Delivery experience
• Electronic Logging Device and handheld device experience are assets
• Reliable and dependable
• PHYSICALLY FIT
• TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience are  assets
• Must be able to provide a criminal record check, driver's abstract, and 2 work-related references.
