The Operations Data Analyst will primarily focus on supporting and enhancing supply-planning processes and solutions. The role serves as the primary liaison between supply-chain users and technical teams, monitors critical scheduled jobs, resolves day-to-day user and data issues, and architects solutions to meet business requirements. The ideal candidate should also bring strong data analytical skills, data integrations experience, ability to engineer data pipelines and good understanding of data quality assurance. Candidates with additional years of experience may be considered for a senior position.
Job Duties
- Accountable for end-to-end supply-planning solution, ensuring that planning processes, system output, and business workflows operate reliably.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business users to address operational questions, resolving functional issues, and guiding effective use of the planning platform.
- Investigate supply-planning exceptions by tracing master data, transactional data, transformation logic, configurations, and downstream calculations.
- Gather and refine supply-chain business requirements and translate them into scalable functional and technical solution designs.
- Configure, enhance, and troubleshoot o9 supply-planning models, measures, workflows, views, dashboards, and business logic.
- Support data integration between SAP, o9, and enterprise data platforms, including mappings, sequencing, validations, and error handling.
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL- and Python-based data pipelines, transformations, analytical datasets, automation, and operational controls.
- Perform data profiling, quality validation, and cross-system reconciliation to ensure supply-chain data is complete, accurate, consistent, and timely.
- Enable solution delivery through impact assessment, design reviews, testing, user acceptance, deployment, hypercare, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate across operations, IT, and business teams; communicate risks and priorities, ensure support documentation is maintained and updated.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, information systems, computer science, analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience supporting or delivering enterprise supply-planning solutions, preferably in a high-tech manufacturing, semiconductor, or complex supply-chain environment.
Experience must include
- Strong knowledge of supply planning processes, master data and manufacturing operations transactional data.
- Hands-on experience with o9 mPower or similar platforms, managing configuration, enhancement, troubleshooting, and implementation.
- Experience working on enterprise datawarehouse data transformation, data integration and data quality management.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical designs, quality assurance of solution during development and deployment in production.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Supply-planning process and advanced planning-system (APS) experience.
- o9 mPower configuration and support experience preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced SQL skills and practical Python / R programming experience.
- Strong stakeholder communication, requirements analysis, solution design, and issue-management skills.
- Experience with batch orchestration, monitoring, alerting, incident management, APIs, and ETL/ELT framework.
- Familiarity with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau and collaboration / workflow tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, and JIRA
