This is a senior technical architecture role focused on designing and evolving enterprise solutions built around SAP <Commerce.You> will be responsible for defining solution architectures, translating business and technical needs into robust designs, and providing technical direction throughout delivery.The role requires strong hands-on knowledge of SAP Commerce and its integration with other systems and <platforms.You> will act as a technical reference, helping teams make sound architectural decisions and adopt effective development practices.The position offers exposure to challenging enterprise technology environments and opportunities to influence solution quality and long-term <architecture.You> will work remotely in a collaborative environment that values communication, partnership, efficiency, innovation, and measurable results.The initial engagement is for six months, with the possibility of being absorbed into the long-term team.

Accountabilities

Define solution architecture: Design and establish technical architectures for SAP Commerce solutions, ensuring that proposed approaches are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business and technical requirements.

Provide technical direction: Guide development teams on architectural decisions, technical approaches, design patterns, and engineering best practices throughout the solution lifecycle.

Lead technical design: Translate requirements and business needs into detailed technical designs and solution strategies, considering functionality, integration, scalability, and long-term maintainability.

Drive system integration: Design and support integrations between SAP Commerce and other enterprise systems, applications, and platforms, ensuring reliable communication and consistent data flows.

Ensure delivery quality: Act as a technical reference during implementation, helping identify risks, resolve architectural challenges, and maintain the quality and consistency of delivered solutions.

Support technical decision-making: Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to evaluate alternatives, recommend appropriate technologies and approaches, and ensure architectural decisions are clearly understood.

Promote engineering best practices: Encourage consistent development standards, sound architectural principles, and continuous improvement across SAP Commerce initiatives.

Requirements

SAP Commerce expertise: Solid professional experience working with SAP Commerce (Hybris), with strong practical knowledge of the platform and its architecture.

Solution architecture: Proven experience designing SAP Commerce solution architectures, including defining technical approaches, architecture patterns, and detailed solution designs.

Systems integration: Strong understanding of integrating SAP Commerce with external systems, enterprise applications, and other technology platforms.

Technical leadership: Ability to act as a technical reference for development teams, providing architectural guidance and supporting complex technical decisions.

Architecture and design skills: Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate business and technical requirements into scalable, maintainable, and effective solutions.

Communication: Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and explain architectural decisions.

Collaboration: A team-oriented and collaborative mindset, with a proactive approach to working across different areas and supporting shared objectives.
