As Pricing Strategy Lead for LATAM, you will shape pricing decisions that directly influence revenue, margins, and commercial performance across a dynamic regional <market.You>’ll turn complex datasets, market dynamics, and customer behavior into clear, actionable pricing strategies.Working closely with Sales, Sourcing, Commercial, and Pricing Operations teams, you’ll serve as a trusted pricing expert and strategic business partner.The role combines analytical depth with commercial influence, requiring you to move confidently between data analysis, strategy, and <execution.You>’ll identify opportunities, assess pricing performance, test new methodologies, and help scale successful initiatives across the region.This is an opportunity to make a measurable business impact while collaborating with diverse teams in a fast-paced, international environment.The position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex commercial challenges and using data to drive better decisions.
Accountabilities
- Define and execute pricing strategies across LATAM to support revenue growth, margin improvement, and overall profitability objectives.
- Analyze business performance, margin trends, pricing effectiveness, customer behavior, and market dynamics to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Develop data-driven recommendations on pricing actions, margin adjustments, commercial initiatives, and corrective measures.
- Lead pricing research, analysis, and reporting activities, translating complex datasets into clear business insights and practical recommendations.
- Assess regional trading performance and identify underperforming markets, customer segments, or accounts, recommending appropriate actions.
- Act as the pricing subject matter expert for LATAM, partnering with Sales, Sourcing, Business Directors, and other commercial stakeholders.
- Build compelling business cases and use data-backed insights to influence pricing decisions and senior-level stakeholders.
- Communicate analytical findings, strategic recommendations, and pricing performance effectively across different organizational levels.
- Identify, test, and implement innovative pricing methodologies and tactics, evaluating results and recommending broader adoption where successful.
- Lead the execution of approved pricing strategies and coordinate closely with Pricing Operations to ensure effective implementation.
- Support cross-functional pricing projects, strategic initiatives, and continuous improvement programs focused on profitability, efficiency, and commercial performance.
- Drive stakeholder alignment and clear communication throughout pricing changes and implementation processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is desirable.
- Proven experience in Pricing, Pricing Analytics, Revenue Management, Yield Management, Commercial Strategy, Commercial Analytics, or a comparable strategic function.
- Experience developing pricing strategies, analyzing business performance, and evaluating the commercial impact of pricing decisions.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret large datasets and make informed decisions efficiently.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong capabilities in data analysis, reporting, and commercial analytics tools.
- Experience working with pricing, business intelligence, or visualization tools; knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of key profitability drivers, margins, revenue, and business performance.
- Demonstrated ability to turn analytical findings into practical recommendations and influence business decisions through data.
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, including experience presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, combined with a hands-on approach to both strategic and operational challenges.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multicultural environment.
- Experience in Travel, Hospitality, Airlines, OTA, Ecommerce, Mobility, or another dynamic consumer-focused industry is highly desirable.
- Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
