This exceptional leader will act as a “player-coach,” overseeing and supporting execution of FP&A activities for FP&A COE and Above Site sub tower within the GPS organization in BMS’s Hyderabad Hub and demonstrate the following attributesExceptional expertise in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modellingDeep understanding of the manufacturing setup in pharma industry, trends, forecasting, and industry dynamicsOutstanding ability to forge strong partnerships with fellow Hub team members and in-market Finance colleagues to provide high quality services in a timely fashionOpen communication and cooperation to ensure the FP&A Hub in Hyderabad remains an integral part of the local FP&A teams, aligned to broader vision and strategy, and contributes to the overall success of the Finance function and BMSAct as a key liaison between finance and other business units ensuring alignment with overall goals and driving performance improvements.Risk Management and MitigationLeadership role for finance of the future and transformation initiativesBudget tracking & reportingManagement of cross-functional initiatives and teamsChange management initiativesInfluencing large teams and global partners without direct authorityStakeholder Management A minimum of 10 to 14 years of experience is preferred.Key Responsibilities and Major Duties:Leading the team to Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis (actuals vs. budget, forecast, and prior periods), identifying key drivers and underlying root causesDevelop clear, concise explanations of financial variances, highlighting risks, opportunities, and emerging trendsPartner closely with business leaders to provide actionable financial guidance, not just reporting resultsPrepare financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to support strategic and operational decisionsCreate and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations for management and business partnersProactively challenge assumptions and recommend corrective actions or efficiency improvementsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processesEnsure data accuracy and consistency across financial systems and reportsContinuously improve financial analysis processes and reporting toolsRelationship management and teaming   Build and maintain relationships at all levels throughout the organization, specifically with Hyderabad Hub and global Finance senior leadership Build an external network to ensure regular exposure to new and best practices, technologies, and process governance standards Hold self and others to timelines, quality, and accuracy   Risk management  Anticipate needs, assess and manage business risk taking; escalate issues that may impact management reporting process globally; manage through times of crisis and ambiguityWe hire for skills and capabilities, not just credentials – if this role excites you, but doesn’t perfectly match your resume, we encourage you to apply <anyway.How> We WorkWhere you work matters – because collaboration, innovation and patient impact happen in many settings.
