ET Consultant

We are seeking to recruit an Environmental Specialist (Extended Term Consultant; ETC) to support a growing environment program in the the countries covered by the unit with a focus on Thailand. Specifically, the specialist will: Contribute to the design and implementation support of World Bank or grant-supported programs in EAP primarily in Thailand. Provide technical leadership on components or activities focused on finance mobilization, financial modeling and related issues. Provide technical expertise on nature-based solutions to be integrated into the technical design of ENV programs. Contribute to the World Bank’s responsibilities for administrative, operational and performance reporting and tasks in line with institutional and donor requirements. Lead and/or contribute to substantive research and analytical tasks relevant to strengthening the operational and advisory portfolio in Thalian (or other countries as directed). Support policy dialog with governments and other stakeholders related to the Bank’s environment and natural resources portfolio. Participate in preparation and/or implementation support missions in support of ENV activities in Thailand and/or other countries as directed. Carry out other tasks as requested by the Regional Manager.
