2nd Shift Industrial Sewer

Primary Responsibilities

• Processing of customer orders in timely manner
• Operator Industrial Sewing Machines unassisted
• Top quality required of correct description and quantity
• Keep area safe and clean

Working Conditions

Manufacturing plant; will be required to wear personal protective equipment per policy and may be requested to work overtime per production schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• The ability to read and write in English.
• A thorough knowledge of Flexaust products and materials.
• Basic tape reading knowledge and basic mathematical skills as well as ability to use other tools as required.

Typical Duties and Essential Responsibilities

• Working from factory orders, cuts hose to tight tolerances as specified on individual orders, attaches special end finishes per instruction with tolerance and specifications of the work order.
• Complete factory paperwork per company guidelines.
• Operate industrial sewing machines
• Responsible for safe work area, including prompt reporting of any safety hazards to the safety committee or supervisor.
• Responsible for housekeeping and organization of your area and related areas in department.
• Remove hose from stock area.
• Responsible for safe work area, including prompt reporting of any safety hazards to the safety committee or supervisor.
• Performs any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor or other management as required.
