Job Description & Summary: PwC India is seeking a highly skilled Azure DevOps and Data Architect with hands-on experience in designing, architecting, and implementing scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. This is a technical leadership role focused on delivering robust, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure and data architecture to support enterprise data and analytics initiatives. Job Position Title: IN_Manager_Azure DevOps & Architect_D&A_Advisory_PAN India Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and data architecture solutions on Microsoft Azure aligning with business and technical requirements. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) automation using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or similar tools for continuous deployment and environment consistency. Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps services to enable efficient software delivery, automated testing, and release management. Architect secure, high-performance data platforms leveraging Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other data services. Collaborate with data engineers, architects, developers, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and operational excellence. Develop and enforce cloud governance policies, including role-based access control (RBAC), cost optimization, and compliance standards on Azure platform. Lead data modeling, data warehouse design, and data lake implementation to support advanced analytics and business intelligence use cases. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure, application performance, and data pipeline reliability. Provide technical leadership, best practices, and mentorship to cross-functional teams on DevOps automation, Azure services, and data architecture. Document solution designs, architectural decisions, deployment guides, and operational procedures. Mandatory skill sets: Strong hands-on experience architecting and implementing cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure with focus on DevOps practices. Expertise in Azure DevOps, including build/release pipelines, artifact management, and automated deployments. Proficient in infrastructure as code using ARM templates, Terraform, or similar tools for Azure infrastructure provisioning. Deep knowledge of Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database. Experience designing and managing scalable data architectures – data lakes, data warehouses, and streaming solutions on Azure. Working knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or similar platforms. Proficient in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Strong understanding of security best practices, identity management, and compliance frameworks related to Azure environments. Solid experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. Preferred skill sets: Certifications in Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer). Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools integrated with Azure DevOps. Exposure to advanced data governance frameworks and metadata management. Knowledge of cloud cost management and optimization techniques. Experience integrating Azure ML or AI services as part of data solutions. Prior consulting experience delivering enterprise cloud and data architecture solutions. Years of experience required: 10 - 16 Years Education qualification: BE, <B.Tech>, MCA, MBA, <M.Tech>
