We are currently seeking a skilled Automotive Electrician to join our workshop team in Hamilton. About the Role As an Automotive Electrician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems on a range of light commercial vehicles and heavy diesel trucks. This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working with industry-leading commercial vehicle brands. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair electrical faults across light commercial and heavy diesel vehicles Service, maintain, and repair mechanical systems including engines, drivetrains, braking, and suspension systems Troubleshoot and repair vehicle electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance Carry out wiring repairs, accessory installations, and electrical upgrades Utilise manufacturer diagnostic software and equipment Complete service documentation and maintain accurate workshop records Work closely with Service Advisors and customers to communicate repair requirements What We're Looking For Qualified Automotive Technician, Automotive Electrician, or equivalent trade qualification Minimum 3 years' experience working with commercial vehicles, diesel engines, trucks, or heavy equipment Strong electrical diagnostic and fault-finding capability Sound mechanical knowledge and repair experience Experience using diagnostic scan tools and electronic troubleshooting systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach Commitment to workplace health and safety Why Join Keith Andrews Trucks?
