About The Role

DescriptionThe purpose of this position is to execute ASG's human resources functions. Those functions include HRIS management, payroll, full-cycle recruiting, employee engagement, and Microsoft 365 administration.

Primary Accountabilities

Participates in the development of People Operations (Human Resources) objectives and systems

Serves as lead representative and liaison between People Operations and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects

Optimize HRIS processes, integrate new software, and perform diagnostic tests

Serves as the primary contact for payroll processing including tracking employee PTO (PAID TIME OFF)

Owns the recruitment process by creating and reviewing job descriptions with hiring managers, posting open requisitions internally and externally, screening resumes, sourcing for qualified candidates, conducting screening calls, setting up interviews, following up with candidates, conducting reference checks, generating offer letters, and onboarding

Develops and maintains company internal communications such as intranet bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of what is happening both in People Operations and across the organization

Assists in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs

Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments utilizing ASG’s HRIS

Administers license assignments in Microsoft 365 and serves as company contact for IT (Information Technology) initiatives

Organizes employee engagement events ranging from monthly virtual trivia to the annual ASG retreat

Performs other duties as assigned

Ability to visit the organization's Contact Support Center in Lawrence, MA either monthly or quarterly basis to provide People Operations support as needed

QualificationsQualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required
  • 2 or more years of recruitment experience required
  • One year of Human Resources experience required
  • Additional HR training is a plus
  • If required, flexibility to work outside of normal work hours especially during project peaks
  • Bilingual preferred but not required, fluent in English and Spanish/Portuguese

Skills

Basic level understanding of HR practices and labor legislation

Familiarity with job boards, full-cycle recruitment, and Human Resources Information Systems

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate

Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities

Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization HRIS - Paycom preferred

Knowledge of computer and MS Office 365 suite or equivalent software programs
