Van Driver - Dayton - Parttime

DescriptionJob Purpose

• The position is responsible for picking up meals, equipment, and other assigned items from the distribution location in Columbus, Ohio and delivering to designated locations in the Dayton Ohio Area for delivering to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for scheduled delivery of packaged meals, bags, coolers, equipment, and other assigned items to locations in Central Ohio/Dayton Area using program vehicle.
• Pick up empty bags, coolers, equipment following a schedule, and other assigned items.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery and pick-up according to the established schedule.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the program vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure smooth delivery operations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the program vehicle.
• Provide excellent customer service and address any client inquiries or concerns professionally.

QualificationsRequired Education

• Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Required Experience

• Must be able to read and write effectively.
• Ability to navigate using a map.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of Dayton area streets, roads, and highways, with the ability to navigate using a map.
• Ability to communicate and relate effectively with diverse individuals, environments, and populations.
• Good customer service skills.
