About The Role

Dreamscape Learn is looking for a hands-on, dependable Assembly Technician to help build and prepare equipment used in our immersive learning installations. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with tools, electronics, and mechanical assemblies.

What You’ll Do

Assemble steel frames, hardware, acrylic panels, and electronic components
Use hand tools and power tools for basic assembly and fabrication
Perform basic electrical and low-voltage/data wiring
Route, secure, and organize wiring and cables
Follow drawings, instructions, and assembly procedures
Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy
Assist with packing, inventory, and general production tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand and power tools
Basic experience with electronics, wiring, assembly, or fabrication preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Reliable, organized, and comfortable working as part of a team
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly bend, kneel, squat, and work on hands and knees

Experience with cable management, Cat6/data cabling, low-voltage wiring, electronics, manufacturing, or shop assembly is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
NOTE: This is a 1099 project-based role, up to 40 hrs per week for the duration of the project.
Compensation: $27.50 - $35 / hr (up to 40 hrs per week)
