About The Role
Overview Bio-Rad Laboratories is seeking a Communications Specialist. You will play a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day execution of enterprise communications, managing communications channels, coordinating the editorial calendar, and writing content for campaigns and initiatives that reach employees and audiences across the company. This role is well suited to someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and excited to help establish best practices, world-class processes, and measurement standards as the function is being built. Working across businesses and functions, you will ensure communications plans and projects stay coordinated and on track, and that company communications are distributed broadly, accurately, and on time. How You’ll Make an Impact: Manage day-to-day communications channels (intranet, email distribution lists, and collaboration platforms), ensuring content is current, accurate, and on-brand. Own and maintain the enterprise editorial calendar, coordinating content submissions, scheduling, and publishing across business units and functions. Write, edit, and develop content for communications campaigns and initiatives, including articles, emails, and announcements. Coordinate broad distribution of company-wide communications, ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time. Partner with stakeholders across the business to gather updates, align on messaging, and keep communications plans and projects coordinated and on track. Track and report on communications metrics and channel performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Support the development of communications best practices, templates, and processes as the Corporate Communications function is being built. What You Bring: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English, Marketing or related field. Work Experience: 3+ years related experience. Written communication skills. Verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Organizational skills and project/calendar management. Attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with intranet, CMS, or email distribution platforms. Basic analytics and metrics reporting skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Location: This position must be based in Hercules, CA and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office. Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $96,600 to $132,900 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
