Part-Time Rental Staff – Parks & Rec (CREC)

$17/hr. • 10–15 hrs./week • Weekends & Evenings

Looking for a fun, fast‑paced job where you help make events happen? The Haverford Township Parks & Rec Department is hiring Rental Staff to support parties, community events, and celebrations at the CREC!

What You’ll Do

• Be the friendly face greeting rental customers
• Set up and break down event spaces (tables, chairs, A/V, etc.)
• Support customers before, during, and after their event
• Keep events running smoothly and enforce building rules
• Make sure rooms are cleaned and reset after each rental
• Troubleshoot basic audio/visual equipment
• Know the CREC layout and help guests navigate the building
• Other tasks may be assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to lift/move up to 30 lbs. and perform hands‑on work
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Organized, reliable, and able to multitask
• High school diploma/GED
• Valid PA Driver’s License

Schedule & Pay

• 10–15 hours/week
• Mostly weekends and evenings
• $17/hour
• Work at the Haverford Township CREC (9000 Parkview Drive)
