Want to start building a career that goes somewhere? We’re looking for a Trades Apprentice (Electrical) to join Fulton Hogan and learn on the job while helping deliver good work that matters.

This is a hands-on, entry-level role where you’ll work alongside experienced people, build practical trade skills, and be part of a team that backs each other. You’ll be trusted to turn up, give it a crack, learn fast, and put safety first.

Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities

  • Complete trade-related and labouring tasks to support the team in delivering work safely and to a high standard.
  • Carry out practical site duties such as lifting and shifting materials, operating handheld equipment, measuring and cutting materials, and keeping the site tidy.
  • Attend pre-starts, understand hazards and controls, and follow safety, environmental and quality requirements.
  • Use tools and equipment safely and only when trained and authorised to do so.
  • Contribute to a team culture that looks for safer, smarter ways of getting the job done.

Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We’re looking for someone with

  • A Class 1 driver licence.
  • An interest in Electrical trade work, with study towards a relevant qualification ideal.
  • A practical approach and comfort with hands-on, outdoor work in varying conditions.
  • A reliable, proactive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn and follow instructions.
  • A team-focused mindset, respect for others, and pride in doing good work.
