About the team

Our Prague-based team works closely with PwC Germany as a nearshore consulting hub supporting large-scale transformation initiatives in the financial services sector. We combine strong German language skills, consulting expertise, and deep understanding of banking, insurance, and investment services. While fully integrated with PwC Germany, you will also be part of the Czech Technology Consulting practice and have opportunities to contribute to initiatives across both countries.

About your manager

Romana Mrazova is a Manager in PwC’s Technology Consulting practice. Since 2017, she has combined technology consulting with hands-on delivery across software development, digital transformation, and SAP transformation projects in the automotive and telecommunications sectors. Her expertise spans product management, business analysis, project governance, and release management. Having lived and worked in Germany and China, she brings an international perspective and a strong focus on collaboration, quality, and delivery excellence.

Job description & summary

As a Senior Business Consultant, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering technology-enabled transformation initiatives for financial institutions across Germany.

Lead business analysis activities across digital and transformation projects in banking, insurance, and investment services
Translate complex business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and solution designs
Facilitate collaboration between business stakeholders, IT teams, architects, and delivery teams
Drive stakeholder alignment and support decision-making throughout the project lifecycle
Contribute to project governance, delivery planning, and status reporting
Support agile and hybrid project delivery environments
Analyze and optimize business processes, customer journeys, and operating models
Coordinate workstreams and take ownership of key project deliverables
Ensure project outcomes meet business, regulatory, and technology requirements
Gradually expand your leadership responsibilities while mentoring junior team members

Examples of projects you may work on

Digital Lending & Customer Journey Transformation Redesign end-to-end lending processes, define future-state operating models, gather business requirements, and improve customer experience through technology-enabled solutions.

Core Banking Modernization & Platform Transformation Support banks in replacing legacy platforms with modern cloud-ready solutions by bridging business and IT teams and helping define future ways of working.

What matters to us

Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Business Informatics, Business Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience in consulting, technology consulting, business analysis, or digital transformation projects
Experience working with stakeholders across business and IT functions, ideally within banking, insurance, or other regulated industries
Professional German language skills (B2-C1) and English proficiency (C1)
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to structure and simplify complex topics
Experience delivering projects in agile, hybrid, or transformation environments
Proactive ownership mentality and ability to drive tasks through to completion
