Junior Engineer, MEP

About The Role

  • Supervise daily MEP installation activities at the project site.
  • Coordinate HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, and associated civil works.
  • Review approved shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and project specifications.
  • Ensure that work is executed according to approved drawings, quality standards, and client requirements.
  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor work progress against the approved schedule.
  • Identify technical issues and coordinate with the engineering team for resolution.
  • Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
  • Raise material requests and monitor material availability at the site.
  • Verify completed quantities and support subcontractor payment certification.
  • Ensure all inspections and testing activities are completed and properly documented.
  • Prepare inspection requests and coordinate with the QA/QC team and consultant.
  • Ensure compliance with project HSE procedures and participate in toolbox talks.
  • Monitor productivity and efficiently allocate manpower, tools, and equipment.
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of drawings, inspections, test reports, and site changes.
  • Support the preparation of as-built drawings and final handover documents.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Engineering.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in MEP construction projects.
  • UAE experience is preferred.
  • Experience in HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and electrical systems.
  • Good knowledge of MEP drawings, technical specifications, and construction standards.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and project reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of local authority requirements and applicable UAE regulations is preferred.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and work effectively under project deadlines.
  • Experience in HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and electrical systems.
