This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SAP Datasphere and SAP BW/4HANA Specialist based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to design and deliver modern enterprise data solutions using SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA, and SAP <HANA.You> will work across data modelling, integration, transformation, migration, and analytics to support complex business requirements.The position combines hands-on technical development with architectural thinking, performance optimization, and solution <design.You> will help modernize legacy data environments while enabling scalable, harmonized, and business-ready data platforms.The role also involves close collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams to translate analytical needs into robust <solutions.As> an experienced specialist, you will contribute to mentoring, knowledge sharing, and capability development within the data <practice.You> may also support pre-sales initiatives, bringing your technical expertise into solution scoping and proposal development.

Accountabilities

• Design and develop end-to-end data models, data flows, transformation logic, and analytical solutions using SAP Datasphere and SAP BW/4HANA.
• Architect and implement SAP HANA-native solutions, including calculation views, stored procedures, optimized data models, and SQLScript-based developments.
• Lead data migration and harmonization initiatives involving legacy SAP BW environments, BW/4HANA, and SAP Datasphere.
• Build and manage data integration pipelines using SAP Data Intelligence, SAP Integration Suite, and relevant third-party ETL technologies.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand analytical requirements and translate them into scalable, reliable, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Perform performance tuning, query optimization, troubleshooting, and technical improvements across SAP HANA-based environments.
• Contribute to SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics initiatives using CDS views, OData services, and virtual data models.
• Support integration with SAP Analytics Cloud, including analytical stories and planning models where required.
• Apply data warehousing best practices, including dimensional modelling, star schemas, InfoProviders, and structured data architecture.
• Mentor junior team members, promote knowledge sharing, and contribute to the development of technical capabilities within the practice.
• Support pre-sales activities by contributing to solution architecture, technical scoping, effort estimation, and proposal development.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of hands-on experience working with SAP BW, including BW 7.x and/or BW/4HANA, together with strong SAP HANA experience.
• Proven expertise with SAP Datasphere, including business and data layers, data flows, data modelling, and data federation scenarios.
• Strong command of ABAP, particularly BW-related development, along with SQL and SQLScript for SAP HANA development.
• Practical experience integrating SAP Analytics Cloud, including story development and planning models.
• Strong understanding of dimensional modelling, star schemas, InfoProviders, enterprise data warehousing concepts, and data modelling best practices.
• Hands-on experience with SAP LT Replication Server, SAP Data Services, SAP Data Intelligence, or comparable data integration technologies.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics, CDS views, virtual data models, and OData services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data and performance issues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and distributed technical teams.
• Demonstrated willingness and ability to mentor junior professionals and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
