This is an opportunity for a mid-level Backend Developer to build modern, scalable, and high-performance financial technology <solutions.You> will join a product and technology squad focused on solutions for the payroll-deducted credit ecosystem.The role combines hands-on software development with active participation in technical and product <decisions.You> will work with distributed systems, microservices, APIs, databases, messaging, and caching technologies.Quality, reliability, documentation, and continuous improvement will be central to your day-to-day <work.You> will collaborate closely with development and business teams in an agile environment.Your work will directly contribute to robust digital financial products that connect technology with business value.
Accountabilities
- Contribute to defining technical solutions in collaboration with the development team, considering business and product requirements.
- Analyze existing solutions critically and proactively identify opportunities for technical and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs using established software engineering practices.
- Ensure the quality of deliveries by defining acceptance scenarios, writing unit tests, and applying sound development practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including API contracts and project specifications.
- Support production incidents by investigating issues, identifying root causes, and implementing definitive corrective solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and other collaborative engineering practices.
- Manage releases, versioning, and development workflows while contributing to CI/CD practices.
- Work with messaging, caching, databases, Docker, and Linux-based environments to support reliable applications.
- Collaborate within Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban to plan, deliver, and continuously improve solutions.
Requirements
- Professional experience with Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, and established software architecture practices.
- Experience designing and developing distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
- Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET Core 8 or later, including data access using Dapper.
- Experience working with transactional and non-transactional databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MongoDB.
- Practical experience creating and managing messaging queues with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar technologies.
- Experience with distributed caching solutions such as Redis.
- Experience managing releases, GitLab version control, and CI/CD-related development practices.
- Experience with software quality practices, including unit and integration testing, code reviews, and pair programming.
- Familiarity with Docker and Linux environments.
- Experience working with microservice architectures and communication between services.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS is desirable.
- Familiarity with project and activity management tools such as Jira is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, critical judgment, collaboration skills, and a proactive approach to solving technical challenges.
