About the Role
As a Payment Compliance Analyst at Gopay, you’ll help ensure our regulatory reporting and communications with Bank Indonesia are accurate, timely, and well-documented. You’ll be the person who looks closely at the data, challenges inconsistencies, follows through on regulatory letters and invitations, and makes sure every required action is properly tracked and executed. You’ll work closely with Product, Finance, Data, and other teams to turn regulatory requirements into clear and reliable deliverables. What You Will Do
- Responsible for regular and ad hoc regulatory reporting to Bank Indonesia, ensuring submissions are accurate, complete, timely, and supported by appropriate documentation.
- Analyze and validate regulatory data across multiple sources, identify inconsistencies or anomalies, and proactively challenge data before submission.
- Manage Bank Indonesia correspondence end-to-end, including incoming and outgoing letters, requests, invitations, deadlines, and required follow-up actions.
- Escalate data gaps, reporting risks, to Compliance head with clear analysis and recommendations.
- Build and maintain a robust documentation and reporting trail, correspondence, and approvals are complete, and organized.
- Responsible for Bank Indonesia seasonal event/program in coordination with other relevant stakeholders.
What You Will Need
Have 3–7 years of experience in data management, compliance, reporting, operations, audit, or a similar role within payment industry, banking, fintech, or government body.
Have hands-on experience preparing regulatory reports or regulatory submissions, preferably to Bank Indonesia or another financial regulator.
Be highly proficient in data analysis and validation, with strong attention to detail and the ability to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and data gaps before submission.
Be comfortable working with large or complex datasets, using tools such as Excel/Google Sheets; SQL, data visualization, or BI tools are a strong advantage.
Have strong documentation and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain clear records of regulatory correspondence, submissions, deadlines, and follow-up actions.
Be confident in stakeholder communication and escalation, including asking the right questions, challenging data or information when needed, and following up with multiple teams to get things done.
Demonstrate strong ownership and judgment, with the ability to manage recurring deliverables independently while knowing when an issue requires escalation to Compliance leadership.
