Guardian is looking for motivated Regional Controller with a passion for transformation and eager to advance into their career. This position is responsible for the financial oversight of multiple manufacturing facilities within Europe by partnering with different teams to ensure delivery of controlling activities to expected level.

The role is based in Luxembourg.
What You Will Do
- Work cross functionally with multiple departments (operations, accounting etc.) to ensure the core monthly financial statements - B/S, P&L, CFS - are produced timely and materially correct.
- Track, analyze, and report budget and profitability variance to leadership. Partner with different teams to obtain a reliable understanding over monthly business activity and events, provide support to accounting team to accurately capture the activity into financials. Drive/support successful execution of complex corporate transactions and business changes (mergers, liquidations, loan repayments, dividends etc.).
- Partner with local compliance team to ensure an accurate local result is reported in the statutory financial statements (e.g., support during audit/review of FS mapping). Accountability on accurate and timely submissions status of local filings (FS/VAT/CIT).
- Continuously seek and drive transformative improvements to organization, accounting processes and system utilization for controlling activities (e.g., overall process improvement and application of internal financial controls), ensure appropriate governance and follow-up on long-term open transactions.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Master's degree in accounting or finance.
- Experience in accounting and/or analytical finance roles.
- Experience working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable interacting regularly with the leadership team.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Strong Excel skills.
- Self-motivated with strong initiative and the ability to act independently.
