3Q Recruitment is recruiting a Home Care & Daycare at Home Coordinator for a permanent opportunity in Ennis, Co. Clare, supporting the delivery of specialist dementia care within the local community.
This is a Monday-to-Friday, 30-hour-per-week role where you’ll coordinate person-centred services, support and supervise Care Workers, work closely with families and healthcare professionals, and help ensure people living with dementia receive high-quality care in their own homes and communities.
What You Will Do
As Coordinator, you will take responsibility for the effective day-to-day delivery of Home Care and Daycare at Home services.
You will
- Lead, supervise and support a team of Care Workers.
- Coordinate staff rotas based on individual client and service needs.
- Support recruitment, induction, training and performance management.
- Assess new and existing clients and identify appropriate care requirements.
- Develop and maintain individual person-centred care plans.
- Regularly review client needs and respond to changes or concerns.
- Work closely with families, carers and health and social care professionals.
- Manage waiting lists and help identify gaps in care provision.
- Maintain accurate service, client and employee records.
- Support quality standards, risk management and health & safety requirements.
- Monitor service activity, resources and budgets.
- Build relationships with local healthcare professionals and community services.
- Promote high-quality, dementia-specific care throughout the service.
What You Will Need
We’re looking for someone with
- 2–3 years’ experience within health/social care or the voluntary sector.
- Previous experience working in a caring environment, ideally supporting people living with dementia, older people or individuals with complex needs.
- Experience or a strong understanding of managing people or coordinating a service.
- Knowledge of dementia care and older-person services.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Financial awareness and an understanding of delivering services within budget.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of relevant healthcare, employment and health & safety requirements.
- Full clean driving licence and suitable transport, as regular travel is required.
- A Diploma in Health Service Management or equivalent qualification is desirable.
