Located on Hayat Island, InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa is a luxury beachfront resort where island living meets authentic Arabian hospitality. Less than an hour from Dubai, the resort offers a refined yet relaxed escape surrounded by natural landscapes, open sea views, and powder-soft beaches. With a collection of rooms, villas, and residences, a variety of restaurants and bars, and award-winning spa and leisure facilities, we focus on creating thoughtful, personal, and memorable experiences for families, couples, and groups in a true resort setting.

A clean and well-organised kitchen is essential to serving great food. We’re looking for a Kitchen Steward to support our Employee Restaurant and help keep our kitchen, equipment and back-of-house areas clean, safe and ready for daily operations.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be

Cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, utensils and working areas
Keeping the Employee Restaurant kitchen and surrounding areas clean and hygienic
Preparing kitchen equipment for daily use
Cleaning and properly storing equipment after use
Supporting the receiving, handling and storage of supplies
Maintaining clean and organised storage areas
Handling waste and linen safely and correctly
Following hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times
Supporting the culinary team during busy meal periods
Taking care of kitchen equipment and reporting any damage or safety concerns

What We need from you

Primary or high school education, or equivalent relevant experience
The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg) which can also involve bending and kneeling
Previous stewarding, cleaning or kitchen experience would be an advantage
Good understanding of cleanliness and personal hygiene
Ability to work in a physically active environment
Willingness to support the team wherever needed
A reliable, hardworking and team-focused attitude
Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and public holidays
