Great colleague experiences start behind the scenes, and good food is an important part of that. We’re looking for a Demi Chef de Partie to join our Employee Restaurant team and help us serve fresh, tasty and well-prepared meals to our colleagues every day.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be

  • Preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and daily production plans
  • Supporting the Sous Chef and Junior Sous Chef with the smooth running of the Employee Restaurant kitchen
  • Making sure mise en place is ready according to daily meal requirements
  • Checking the quality, storage and handling of ingredients
  • Maintaining consistent food quality, portioning and presentation
  • Following proper stock rotation and helping reduce food waste
  • Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
  • Keeping your workstation, equipment and assigned section clean and organised
  • Supporting other sections of the kitchen whenever required
  • Guiding junior culinary colleagues and working together as one team

What We need from you

  • Diploma or vocational qualification in Culinary Arts or a related field, or equivalent kitchen experience
  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment
  • Experience in a high-volume kitchen, staff cafeteria or employee restaurant would be an advantage
  • Good knowledge of food preparation, hygiene and food safety standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
  • A positive attitude and willingness to support and develop the team
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and public holidays
