Vehicle Mechanic Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Mechanic Technician to support maintenance and repair of a company fleet in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on fleet equipment, including:
Forklifts
Semi-trucks
Flatbed trailers
Diesel-powered equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
Conduct inspections and complete brake, suspension, and engine repairs
Perform routine services such as oil changes, filter replacements, and system checks
Maintain accurate maintenance records and service logs
Ensure equipment meets safety and DOT compliance standards
Prioritize repairs to maximize fleet uptime and operational efficiency

Qualifications

Proven experience in vehicle and equipment maintenance
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Experience working on forklifts, trucks, and trailers required
Familiarity with DOT inspection requirements preferred
Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues independently
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
