About the Role
We're looking for a Partner Operations Lead to drive the strategy and operational execution behind a portfolio of major event partnerships, including two of the largest global sporting events on the calendar over the next two years. This is a central operator role: you'll build and run the operational playbook that turns high-value event assets, tickets, credentials, hospitality, and access, into successful, well-executed programs. You'll report to the Senior Lead of Event Partnership Activations and work cross-functionally with safety, communications, executive support, and agency partners to deliver flawless on-the-ground execution.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and drive the operational strategy for major 2027-2028 sporting event partnerships, while refreshing a reusable operational playbook that supports other event partnerships going forward
Own end-to-end operational planning across all partnership programs, including coordinating executive hospitality needs
Manage the allocation and delivery of operational assets: ticketing, accreditation, transportation, parking, accommodations, and hospitality
Build and execute onsite staffing and operational plans in partnership with safety, security, and internal communications teams
Develop contingency plans covering workforce, guests, and other onsite stakeholders in coordination with safety and security
Manage agency partners on ticketing, accreditation, and transportation strategy, overseeing deliverables and internal communication
Partner with activation leads and key stakeholders to secure onsite activations and maximize the business value of available assets
Manage related approvals and submissions across stakeholder groups
Guide and oversee operational staff on workstream execution
Lead internal operational communications (including a recurring taskforce meeting), and produce a Games Time Operational Playbook, executive summaries, and recommendations
Qualifications
- Direct experience working on both Olympic Games and FIFA World Cup events
- Strong experience supporting executives, board members, or other VIP stakeholders in a major event environment
- Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Proven ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely across teams
- Deep subject-matter expertise in sport, with an existing network of relationships at the IOC and FIFA
- Experience presenting to and influencing senior internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to travel regularly and work onsite at events
