Job Description: Onboarding Specialist – US Healthcare (Nurse Hiring) Job Title: Onboarding Specialist – US Healthcare (Nursing Workforce) Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore / Work from office (India) Shift: US Shift 6:00PM to 3:00AM IST Experience: 2–5 years in US Healthcare / Onboarding / HR Operations About the Role We are seeking a detail‑oriented and process‑driven Onboarding Specialist to support onboarding and credentialing of Registered Nurses (RNs), LPNs/LVNs, and other clinical staff for US healthcare clients. The role involves coordinating documentation, immunizations, Licenses/Certifications, compliance checks, background verification, credentialing, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for nurses transitioning to US healthcare assignments. Key Responsibilities Nurse Onboarding & Documentation Manage end‑to‑end onboarding for US‑based nurses —RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and allied healthcare staff. Collect, verify, and maintain required documentation (licenses, certifications, education records, immunization records, skill checklists, etc.). Review US RN/LPN credentials such as BLS/ACLS, state license, compact license . Compliance & Credentialing Coordinate background checks , drug screening , I‑9 documentation review , and employment eligibility. Ensure timely submission of compliance packets to healthcare facilities. Stakeholder Coordination Liaise with US recruiters, candidates, healthcare facilities, and compliance teams. Provide regular updates and support to candidates during the onboarding journey. Systems & Process Management Maintain accurate data in ATS/HRIS systems. Track onboarding pipelines and generate status reports. Ensure process adherence and contribute to process improvements. Candidate Experience Management Act as the primary point of contact for nurses throughout the onboarding process. Ensure a positive, smooth, and timely onboarding experience. Address candidate concerns professionally and promptly. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field. 2–4 years of experience in US Healthcare onboarding / compliance / credentialing . Strong understanding of US nursing roles, compliance requirements, and healthcare documentation. Experience in US shift working environment. Excellent communication skills (spoken + written English). High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Familiarity with MS Office, HRIS/ATS systems Preferred Skills Experience working with US staffing agencies or hospitals. Knowledge of US Standards , nurse credentialing pathways. Ability to handle high‑volume onboarding pipelines. Customer‑centric mindset and ability to manage candidate expectations.
