🩺 What You'll Do

As a correctional LPN, you'll provide hands-on nursing care while helping ensure patients receive timely, compassionate, and appropriate medical attention.

Your responsibilities may include:

Performing nursing assessments and monitoring patient conditions
Administering medications and treatments
Responding to urgent and emergent medical needs
Recognizing changes in patient conditions and communicating them appropriately
Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
Providing patient education and supporting continuity of care
Following established clinical protocols and standards of care
Collaborating with nurses, providers, and correctional staff

Qualifications🎯 What We're Looking For

Current, unrestricted Alabama LPN license
Current CPR certification
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Correctional healthcare experience is welcomed, but not required
Professional, compassionate approach to patient care
