About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our accounting team in Beijing. This is an amazing opportunity to work on accounting in MNC.
The jobholder will be supporting the effective and timely delivery of the monthly close activities and supporting the associated reporting for the relevant business groups; assisting with the production and submission of local statutory and compliance requirements. Meeting the quarterly reporting requirements for the Clarivate Group. The team consists of 10 people and is reporting to the Director of Accounting.
We are expected to talk with you if you has strong relationship building with business finance, corporate functions, internal & external audit and within the shared service center community and is critical in ensuring that all revenue, costs, commitments, assets and liabilities are accurately recorded on a timely basis.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable and general ledger accounting, preferably familiar with contract review process.
- Good knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems(e.g.,NeoCRM, Salesforce), and accounting software(e.g., Kingdee, or NetSuite).

- Combined experience in local company/MNC/Firm
- Experience in tax compliance (VAT, CIT,SD) and financial statement preparation
- Good communication skill, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail, demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain accuracy in high-volume financial processes.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Validate sales orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Review and process sales invoice issuing, ensuring alignment with contracts and accurately and compliantly issued within agreed timelines.
- Maintain clean and accurate accounts receivable records, including tracking outstanding balances and proactively following up on customer payments.
- Conduct general ledger bookkeeping for several small entities, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded and categorized.
- Prepare and review financial documents, including but not limited to journal entries, reconciliations, and reports.
- Assist in monthly/quarterly/annually tax filling and provide support for annual audit and other annual compliance reporting.
- Collaborate with internal departments (including Sales, Finance, and Legal) and external partners to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Maintain and improve accounting procedures and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
About the Team
This is a permanent role within the Group’s International Controllership function with support responsibilities for our APAC entities as assigned. The team consists of 10 people and is reporting to the Director of Accounting.
Hours of Work
Full Time, Permanent (Monday-Friday, core business hours)
This is a hybrid position, working 2-3 days a week in one of our Clarivate offices.
