Respiratory Equipme Technician

EDUCATION: An associate degree or active enrollment in a Respiratory Therapy program, with completion required within two (2) years, is required.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: BLS required within 30 days of hire or transfer. New Jersey Respiratory Care License is required within 27 months of hire or transfer.

EXPERIENCE: Ability to speak and write English Language required. Knowledge of medical terminology required. Enrolled in Respiratory program. Interpersonal skills required to effectively communicate with other team members. Candidates for this position must demonstrate the ability to be flexible, set priorities, solve problems and use good judgment in difficult situations. Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire.
