As a Logistics Planning / Supply Chain Co-op Student, you will support day-to-day supply chain and planning activities while contributing to projects that help improve operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities may include
- Assisting with inventory tracking and monitoring of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
- Supporting production planning activities to help ensure customer demand is met efficiently
- Analyzing inventory levels and identifying potential supply shortages or excess inventory
- Assisting with the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments
- Collaborating with production, warehouse, procurement, and customer service teams to support operational requirements
- Preparing reports and analyzing supply chain data using spreadsheets and reporting tools
- Assisting with cycle counts, inventory audits, and material reconciliation activities
- Participating in supply chain meetings and contributing insights based on data analysis
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
- Currently enrolled in a Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related post-secondary program
- Eligible to participate in a co-op or work-integrated learning placement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team
- Interest in manufacturing, logistics, inventory management, and continuous improvement
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative
