C&S Senior Site Engineer Railway, Penang at Fuku

About The Role

Our client is a Malaysian construction and civil engineering company that operates mainly in infrastructure, roadworks and building projects.

Oversee and manage all civil and structural engineering activities on the railway project site in Penang.
Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor progress and ensure quality control.
Prepare and review engineering designs, plans, and specifications.
Identify and resolve any engineering issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site staff.
Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are strictly adhered to on site.
Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.
Manage project budgets and resources effectively to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, with a focus on railway projects.
Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
Strong knowledge of engineering standards, codes, and regulations related to railway construction.
Proven experience in project management and site supervision.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
Willingness to be based in Penang and travel to project sites as required.
