About The Role
The Training Manager will plan, design, develop, deliver and manage training content, tools, and processes for both new hires and existing sales team members. The Training Mgr. will also monitor effectiveness against business objectives; analyze and report on ROI. This position will work closely with the Senior Account Manager, Regional Field Managers, partners.
- Partner with key stakeholders to understand business objectives and priorities.
- Work with internal teams and conduct market visits to perform needs assessments; identify potential skill set/knowledge gaps, and onboarding training as needed.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to build learning paths.
- Prioritize, develop and/or update, implement and administer program learning, and develop engaging curricula and tools; includes new hire and existing employee learning as well as on-going development. Responsible for incorporating creative strategies that include experiential, challenge based, and action learning opportunities to ensure successful job performance.
- Create engaging learning environments and content for both in-person and e-learning settings.
- Manage multiple complex learning projects simultaneously; establish project timelines and deploy resources based on capability and capacity, while ensuring effective utilization of defined training budget.
- Monitor and measure performance and effectiveness of training programs. Compare results against expected business objectives.
- Analyze and report on ROI.
- Participate on Team Calls and deliver in-person training at various events and meetings throughout the year to ensure consistency in content/message across all markets.
- Create, implement and maintain mentorship/development program.
- Assess existing training content/tools as well as delivery methods and systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Responsible to cover open markets due to turnover, LOA, extended PTO, etc.
- Special Projects as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree required in Business or Training related field of study
- 5-7 years’ experience or equivalent demonstrated success in a training and/or operational role
- 3+ years manager/supervisor experience a plus
- Proven experience facilitating and/or leading one-to-one and/or group trainings
- Strong written and oral communication skills including public speaking.
- Adaptable to recognize issues and quickly solve
- Use analytical and critical thinking.
- Travel as required
- Microsoft Office and SAP knowledge.
- Polished presentation and excellent interpersonal skills
- Google Slide Presentations and Google Sheets.
- Excellent time management.
