ROLE OVERVIEW
The Sales Representative will engage First Class Energy's opted-in Australian customer leads, identify their needs and help them select and sign up for suitable electricity, gas and NBN services. This is a high-volume, consultative sales role requiring proven Australian energy or gas experience, strong objection handling, disciplined follow-up and accurate compliance and CRM practices. This is not an entry-level position.

- Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00AM to 5:00PM (Manila time)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Engagement and Sales
- Contact opted-in Australian household and business customers through outbound calls and structured follow-up activity.
- Build rapport quickly and conduct needs discovery covering current services, priorities, budget and service preferences.
- Explain available electricity, gas and NBN plans using approved product information, scripting and sales tools.
- Present rates, benefits, eligibility, retailer conditions, contract details and key terms in clear, customer-friendly language.
- Recommend suitable options, manage objections professionally and use consultative closing techniques to secure positive outcomes.
- Cross-sell electricity, gas and NBN services where appropriate and beneficial to the customer.
- Guide customers through the approved application or assisted online sign-up process and complete all required verification steps.
- Maintain disciplined follow-up on callbacks, incomplete applications and open opportunities.
Performance, Compliance and Team Contribution
- Take ownership of individual activity, contact, conversion, revenue, product-mix, quality and follow-up targets.
- Follow approved scripts, disclosures, verification processes and call frameworks at all times.
- Adhere to applicable privacy, consent, data-handling and customer-protection requirements.
- Record complete and accurate call notes, outcomes, applications and follow-up actions in the CRM.
- Participate in call monitoring, coaching, product updates and mandatory compliance training.
- Escalate complaints, vulnerable-customer concerns, potential mis-selling, system issues or data concerns promptly.
- Work constructively with the Team Lead, share customer insights and contribute to a positive, accountable onsite culture.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Required
- At least 3 years of relevant sales experience in a contact-centre, call-centre or telesales environment.
- Recent, hands-on sales experience with Australian electricity and/or gas products.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve targets and close sales in a high-volume environment.
- Strong verbal English communication suitable for engaging Australian customers.
- Confident needs discovery, objection handling, persuasion and closing skills.
- High attention to detail, particularly in script adherence, verification and CRM documentation.
- Experience using CRM, dialler or contact-centre technology.
Highly Regarded
- NBN/broadband sales experience and the ability to cross-sell across electricity, gas and internet services.
- Sales experience with Dodo or another Australian utilities or telecommunications retailer, comparison service or related account.
- Experience working warm, opted-in or existing-customer lead pools.
- Familiarity with Australian energy sales verification, privacy, consent or compliance expectations.
- Experience with assisted online sign-up or digital application journeys.
