About The Role
Marine turbine repair mechanic
Work tasks: Job duties: • Diagnostics of the technical condition of ship turbines. • Repair, dismantling, assembly and adjustment of turbine equipment. • Carrying out planned maintenance and emergency repairs. • Quality control of work and testing of equipment after repairs. • Work with technical documentation, drawings and diagrams. • Identification of causes of failures and their elimination. • Compliance with occupational and industrial safety requirements.

Other requirements: • Secondary or higher education in a technical field (marine mechanics, mechanical engineering, etc.).
- At least 2–3 years of work experience with turbine equipment (preferably on ships).
- Knowledge of the operating principles of turbines, pumps, reducers and auxiliary systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and diagrams.
- Ability to use measuring instruments.
- Conscientiousness, accuracy and teamwork skills. An advantage is:
- Previous work experience in ship repair or maritime.
