Position Summary

This posting is for one (1) position of 45 hours, in the Department of Educational & Counselling Psychology. This TA position will support Dr. Jake Burack, course instructor, for two sections of the course EDPE 502 offered on Wednesday from 11:35am - 2:25pm. Effective dates of appointment are August 31 to December 19, 2026. Course dates are August 31 to December 4, 2026.

Responsibilities may include

• Grading
• Preparing class materials
• Moderating online discussions and activities
• Assisting students' learning
• Attending or holding virtual office hours
• Attending all classes (Fall 2026 Wednesdays 11:35am to 2:25pm)

Qualifications

• Senior Ph.D. Student with background in Human Development
• Background in the subject matter of the course
• Comfortable with MyCourses and Microsoft Teams
• Knowledge of French may be required
• Highly organized
• Capable of delivering the class independently
