Payroll Accountant

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process biweekly/monthly payroll for all employees, including accurate calculations of regular wages, overtime, bonuses, and various deductions, in compliance with relevant regulations. This includes independently managing payroll from start to finish, such as tax and benefits calculations, report preparation, and other related tasks
• Prepare and submit reports to government institutions (Sodra, VMI, State Data Agency);
• Collaborate with the HR department to ensure the accuracy of employee data and maintain payroll information for domestic and international employees
• Prepare and import aggregated payroll data into the company's finance system, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations by reconciling payroll accruals and liabilities;
• Manage the collection of payroll data from global teams, ensuring timely and precise submission
• Carry out internal controls to ensure compliance with payroll regulations and mitigate risks associated with payroll processing
• Communicate with employees regarding payroll in a professional and courteous manner.

CORE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll accounting or general accounting with a focus on payroll processing
• Proven experience with payroll software and accounting systems
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger accounts
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and responsibility
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection principles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
