YOUR ROLE

As a Freight Specialist, you’ll ensure a permanent follow-up of the transport of goods at the time of reception and dispatch

In your daily job you will

• Manage the relationship with the forwarder and the carrier;
• Make proposals concerning the choice of carriers;
• Elaborate the weekly schedule of pick-ups for the carrier;
• To follow up the situation of trailers in Algeciras and Tangier;
• Follow up the merchandise passing through the predetermined checkpoints until it arrives at the factory:
• Optimize transport costs.
• Ensure daily monitoring of the number of trailers used (Import and Export) in order to avoid disruptions;
• Ensure the follow-up of the occupation rate and mileage in order to optimize transport costs;
• Elaborate and follow up statistics and transport costs on a weekly basis;
• Supervise reception and shipping;

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Master degree in Logistics or equivalent.
• Advanced English is mandatory
• Knowledge of logistics process
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving and analytical skills are required
