About The Role
This is your opportunity to explore the world of cutting-edge immersive technologies. You’ll learn, practice, and train with these tools, gaining hands-on experience and developing expertise in this rapidly growing field. We provide technical training on audiovisual and emerging immersive technologies, equipping you with a broad range of skills and keeping you up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field. Your responsibilities include assisting in workshops by giving presentations, demonstrating techniques, and helping with preparation tasks such as advertising and documentation; creating and maintaining resources for faculty and students; attending team meetings to discuss project status; staying informed about CAL services; checking and responding to emails and Teams messages throughout your shift; and performing other assigned duties. Qualifications include a solid understanding of technology and a passion for teaching it, familiarity with campus computing resources and internet tools such as blogs, email, and social networking, experience creating PowerPoint presentations with video, graphics, and text, and the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and follow through on projects. Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus. You must be enrolled in at least six credit hours per semester and maintain good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.0 for undergraduates and 3.0 for graduate students. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, including being well-organized, having excellent written and verbal communication skills, being honest, dependable, and flexible, and maintaining a positive attitude.
