We're looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join our team and take ownership of building, optimizing, and scaling high-performing e-commerce experiences. You'll work across the full stack - from Shopify storefront UX to backend integrations and payment systems - with a direct impact on conversion, reliability, and global reach.
In this role, you will
Build and improve UI/UX across Shopify storefronts with a mobile-first approach, serving over 90% mobile traffic
Manage and scale multi-currency and multi-language storefront setups
Develop new features that improve store performance, subscription UX, and overall conversion rates
Run A/B tests and implement tracking to continuously refine user interactions
Maintain and extend payment gateway integrations (Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Stripe, Klarna, and more)
Own backend reliability through robust monitoring, error tracking, and webhook event logging
Enhance internal Shopify Admin tooling for a smoother operational experience
What you will bring
8+ years of software development experience, with strong hands-on TypeScript and Node.js
Deep JavaScript fundamentals - async execution order, what your framework actually does under the hood.
Strong general fundamentals of modern web applications - how apps render in the browser, rendering strategies, how to make the customer experience smooth and fast, and how frontend, backend, and multiple systems communicate — especially in a global e-commerce context
Production experience in React or Vue (and Next.js or Nuxt) - depth in one matters more than shallow exposure to both; you should be able to explain what your framework does under the hood
Familiarity with AWS - you can reason about how an application is deployed and served (compute, CDN, storage, secrets); experience on another cloud and mapping the concepts across is just as good
Daily, hands-on use of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile workflows.
Be the driver, not a passive coder - you propose solutions, sketch the architecture, and challenge requirements that don't make sense.
Strong written and spoken English - the role involves daily collaboration with international stakeholders; clear, structured, to-the-point communication in technical discussions and async writing
Active engagement in team ceremonies and confident contribution to technical discussions
Willingness and ability to learn the Shopify ecosystem - you don't need Shopify experience on day one, but you must be genuinely curious and motivated to build it
Nice to have
Shopify Functions, Shopify APIs, or Checkout UI Extensions experience
End-to-end testing exposure (Playwright, Cypress)
A/B testing and analytics/tracking tools
Multi-currency / multilingual storefront setups
Payment gateway integration experience
Deep cross-browser and cross-platform troubleshooting
