This role is responsible for coordinating complex, high-volume mortgage servicing transfer projects from planning through <completion.You> will serve as a central point of contact connecting clients, servicing partners, internal teams, and third-party stakeholders.The position combines project management, data coordination, testing, risk management, and client <communication.You> will help ensure servicing transfers are delivered accurately, on schedule, and in line with defined requirements.The role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and strong organization are <essential.You> will also contribute to process improvements, lessons learned, and the continuous enhancement of transfer operations.This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative professional with mortgage servicing and project management experience.

Accountabilities

  • Manage high-profile and high-volume inbound and outbound mortgage servicing transfer projects, ensuring activities remain aligned with agreed scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, current and new servicers, and other third parties throughout the servicing transfer lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, action items, deliverables, milestones, and documentation for all relevant stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project meetings, including preparation of agendas, documentation of meeting minutes, and follow-up on outstanding actions.
  • Identify, monitor, and communicate project issues and risks, escalating significant concerns to management with recommended remediation actions and potential timeline impacts.
  • Provide consistent and accurate status updates for trial events, final transfer events, and other key project milestones.
  • Coordinate data-mapping sessions with Loan Transfer Data Analysts, including agendas, requirements, open-item tracking, and resolution follow-up.
  • Coordinate pre- and post-transfer testing activities, document defects, track resolutions, and obtain formal testing sign-off.
  • Facilitate Go/No-Go decisions by documenting trial transfer results, outstanding items, risks, issues, and decisions across all participating parties.
  • Implement and manage necessary changes to standard processes to meet project-specific requirements while maintaining operational quality.
  • Work closely with management and cross-functional teams to ensure project scope and timelines are successfully delivered.
  • Maintain a lessons-learned process to identify successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement following each transfer project.
  • Maintain and update transaction management procedures, including timelines, task lists, project plans, and stakeholder roles and responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of project management experience preferred, ideally involving complex, deadline-driven initiatives.
  • 3+ years of mortgage servicing experience preferred, with exposure to servicing transfers or related mortgage operations considered an advantage.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with internal teams, clients, management, and external partners.
  • Excellent client relationship management and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining established quality and operational standards.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build productive relationships across teams and organizational levels.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable communicating through written, in-person, and virtual channels with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong adaptability and willingness to manage changing priorities, project requirements, and transfer volumes.
  • A background in mortgage servicing, real estate, financial services, or a related field is advantageous.
