Medical Biller

Skilled Wound Care is looking for a Medical Biller to join our rapidly growing company! We are a mobile surgical physician wound care group expanding into new markets of the United States.

Responsibilities

• Use coded data to produce and submit claims to insurance companies
• Work directly with the insurance company, healthcare provider, and patient to get a claim processed and paid
• Review and appeal unpaid and denied claims
• Verify patients’ insurance coverage
• Answer patients’ billing questions
• Handle collections on unpaid accounts
• *THIS IS A REMOTE ROLE*
• Must be willing to work the graveyard shift - Will be working US hours
• COMPENSATION: $5/HR

Qualifications

Good verbal and written communication

1-2 years of medical billing experience required

Medical billing diploma or work experience Lytec or Medisoft experience a plus

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Full time work from home position

Must be willing to work the graveyard shift - Will be working US hours

This is an independent contractor role
