Accounting & Taxes Manager at Inhaus — Panama

About The Role

At INHAUS, we are looking for a Junior Accounting & Tax Manager to join an important company undergoing significant regional expansion in Panama.

Your Impact in This Role

You will be responsible for comprehensively leading the Accounting, Tax, Administration, and Procurement functions, ensuring accurate accounting and tax management, efficient sourcing, and continuous process improvement, under a Shared Services model that supports the organization's regional expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Define accounting standards, policies, and internal control strategies.
Design and implement accounting operations under a Shared Services model.
Ensure comprehensive tax compliance, including ITBMS, income tax, and payroll taxes.
Lead, develop, and supervise a team of 5 professionals.
Manage the Procurement and Administration functions, ensuring the efficient sourcing of supplies, products, and services; lead supplier negotiations; define and monitor the area's KPIs; and strengthen its processes and controls.
Drive digital transformation and automation through ERP systems.

What we are looking for

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree/MBA is a plus).
Minimum 3–4 years of experience in positions relevant to the role.
Previous experience in multinational environments and Shared Services.
Experience in comprehensive accounting management, process automation, and process improvement.
Strong leadership and critical thinking skills.
Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or similar) and Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of IFRS, financial statement consolidation, and KPIs.
Experience in procurement, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
B2+ level of English proficiency.
