ABOUT YOU

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you are a strategic and trusted HR partner who builds strong relationships, earns credibility through sound judgment, and influences leaders with confidence, tact, and integrity. You bring a strong understanding of business operations and workforce dynamics, allowing you to balance organizational priorities, employee experience, and operational needs in a complex and often unionized environment. You are collaborative, resilient, and solutions-oriented, known for navigating sensitive situations with fairness and discretion, coaching leaders through challenges, and using data, insight, and practical reasoning to drive thoughtful decisions that strengthen workforce effectiveness and organizational performance.

What you will do

  • Serves as a strategic and trusted advisor to Aviation leaders, aligning workforce strategies with business objectives and delivering integrated HR solutions that support operational effectiveness, organizational performance, and long-term talent sustainability.
  • Builds strong partnerships and influences decision-making through credibility, sound judgment, and business acumen, helping leaders navigate complex workforce, organizational, and people-related challenges with confidence and clarity.
  • Provides thoughtful guidance on employee and labor relations matters, fostering fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes while strengthening accountability, employee engagement, workplace effectiveness, and leadership capability.
  • Leverages data, insights, and strategic thinking to anticipate workforce needs, identify emerging trends, and develop proactive solutions that enhance talent pipelines, organizational readiness, workforce capability, and overall business success.

What you offer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations, Organizational Development, or a related field required; advanced degree and/or HR certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR Business Partner or HR generalist experience, including senior-level support of complex, operational, unionized, highly regulated, or large enterprise organizations.
  • Strong expertise in employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, employment law, labor principles, policy interpretation, and collective bargaining environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships, influence leaders at all levels, communicate complex issues effectively, and align people strategies with operational and business objectives.

The salary range for this position is $175,000 to $185,000 annually and will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, training, specialized skills, and overall qualifications.
