Accounting Support Specialist

Midwestern Wheels, Inc., a proud licensee of Avis Budget Group, is seeking a self-motivated Accounting Support Specialist to join our Accounting Department. In this role, you will support the Accounting Department with a variety of administrative and financial support functions, including:

• Reconcile and record daily, weekly, and monthly accounts receivable activity
• Prepare month-end accounts receivable reports and related documentation
• Research and respond to customer credit card chargeback inquiries
• Maintain accurate records, files, and supporting documentation
• Generate, update, and manage Excel-based reports, spreadsheets, and data tracking tools
• Assist with internal communications, information requests, and follow-up activities
• Work independently while meeting departmental goals, deadlines, and quality standards
• Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and reporting
• Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Previous accounting support, accounts receivable, or administrative experience preferred
