We're hiring Forward-Deployed Engineers in London to help build real-world applications for our customers utilizing HASH's technology.This is a highly technical, customer-facing role for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of AI, systems thinking, and problem-solving. You’ll work closely with customers to understand their goals, translate complex business problems into robust technical solutions, and help them realize value quickly.RequirementsStrong technical ability, with experience shipping software, or building AI systems in production: prior AI/ML engineering, data engineering, applied AI, or product engineering experience is a hard requirement — specifically you'll require expert (Staff+) level knowledge of TypeScriptAbility to work directly with customers and own complex problem-solving end to end: you'll interface with external stakeholders and will need to draw upon social intelligence, business context, and technical insight in your work — demonstrating clear, structured communication.Strong judgment, high agency, and a bias toward execution: comfort operating in fast-moving environments with a high degree of ambiguityGenuine interest in helping customers succeed, not just shipping technology: results-oriented and impact-motivated; many of our engagements are priced based on the results we deliver, as is compensation in this role.What you'll doIn essence, you'll talk to customers, act as a technical architect, and write code / develop solutions yourself (both solo and within a wider team):Partner with customers to understand their workflows, data, and operational challengesDesign and build AI-powered solutions using HASH, especially for enterprise use casesTranslate ambiguous business problems into structured technical plans and deployable systemsWork across knowledge graphs, structured and unstructured data, LLM-based workflows, and automationLead technical discovery, solution design, implementation, and rollout with customer stakeholdersAct as a trusted advisor to customer teams, from operators and technical teams through to executivesWork closely with product, engineering, and research to shape the platform based on real customer needsHelp define repeatable solution patterns, delivery playbooks, and best practices as we scaleWhy HASHWork on first-principles AI research tied to a large and important real-world missionJoin at a moment of rapid growth, with outsized scope and influenceHelp build a leading frontier AI lab in Europe with global ambitionWork alongside founders who have previously built and exited businesses worth billions of dollarsBe part of a team that moves fast, is enthusiastically open source, and is in it for the long-termBenefits Our team have founded and sold billion-euro companies from scratch. We offer leading equity-weighted total compensation, including competitive salaries and tax-advantaged options.We meet together quarterly in-person for whole-team retreats, provide engineers with generous learning and tech budgets, and recognize and reward output.This role is primarily performance-incentivized and pays £90,000-£140,000 base/bonus, plus meaningful equity.
